Obituary: ANN "PEGGY" FARROW JORDAN
Ann Farrow Jordan, of Wilmington, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center. She was born in Wilmington, July 7, 1935 the daughter of the late Harris James Farrow and Cleo Silvia Farrow. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick R. (Bob)Jordan II, her step mother Dorothy Homan Farrow, her sisters, Joan Hastings and Harriet Murray, and a brother James Farrow. Ann was the owner of Jordan's Breakfast House in Wilmington for many years and she was a member of Masonboro Baptist Church. She is survived by her three children Frederick R. Jordan III (Fred) and wife Ginger of Franklinville, NC Janet Jordan Cheramie of Wilmington, and Lisa Jordan Kerr and husband Greg; three grandchildren Lisa Marie Ashby and husband Spencer, Frederick R. Jordan IV (Bobby) and wife Tanya, and Eugene Joseph Cheramie (Joey) and wife Lisa; and four great grandchildren , Zane, Gavin, Haven, and Dayton. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4 to 6 PM at Andrews Market Street Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Oleander Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Earl Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.
